Dr. Vincent C. Cheng DDS MSc. FAGD FADI
Background and Credentials
Dr. Vincent C. Cheng has always wanted to be a doctor since he was a child. After he graduated from dental school, he first started practicing dentistry in Taiwan, where he gained plentiful experience in multiple areas of dentistry. There, he discovered his interest in gums surgery and continued to advance his dental education by obtaining a Master of Science in Periodontology at the University College of London, Eastman Dental Institute in 1997.
He was later awarded a Fellowship from the Academy of Dentistry International in 1998.
Dr. Cheng has a passion for learning and has completed more than 500 hours of continuing education courses. After passing a rigorous exam in which only 6% of general dentists are granted fellowship, Dr. Cheng earned his prestigious FAGD degree from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2005.
He enjoys learning as much as he enjoys teaching and has been certified to provide continuing education courses in dentistry.
Dr. Cheng has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years. He provides dental care in multiple areas including cosmetic dentistry, implant placement and prosthetics, orthodontics, and family dentistry for all ages. Dr. Cheng is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment to prevent oral diseases and to restore oral health, all while trying to find the most practical approach to suit the patient’s needs.
In his spare time, Dr. Cheng loves to giving back to his community. He has organized and participated in charity dental mission trips to Taiwan, China, Thailand, as well as local communities. He is an active member at church and teaches Sunday School and enjoys mentoring students to prepare them for college. His hobbies include biking, swimming, and photography and treasures bonding with his wife, son, and dog.
